Good Source
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/everest/earth/birth.html
-The URL tells me that this was posted by a reputable organiation
-The author is Roger Bilham and was last revised in 2000, which for this particular subject is more than current enough
-The site is well known and not a copied site. It can not be edited externally.
-According to Alexa.com the site recieved 4 out of 5 stars, only criticism is that they did not use flash player on their site.
-The purpose of this site is to provide the basics of how the Himalayan Mountains were formed. There are other sites that go into greater detail but this is a good source for the fundamentals.
Bad Source
http://www.uttaranchal.ws/him.htm
-The URL tells me that this is a file extention
-The author is not noted only a copyright to Microsoft
-The site does not seem to be from an educational institute and could be falsified.
-There are no reviews on this site at Alexa.com which tells me not many people even attempt to use this as a source.
-The purpose of this site is to describe the formation of the Himalayan Mountains, there are definately better sources out there.
